Greetings, my name is Kumchong Lee, a PhD graduate from the University of Queensland in Australia. My PhD investigated how popular understanding of the South Korea's April Revolution in 1960 was constructed by the media and the participants of the movement. I am interested in a nexus between the media and democracy, social construction of popular understanding, and Korean diaspora in Australia.
